Terms of Service
The rules for using Prepdle, written to be read. The short version: be at least 13, play fair, and be kind to your friends.
Contents
1.Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Prepdle (“we”, “us”) about using the Prepdle website and apps (together, “Prepdle”). By creating an account or using Prepdle, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Prepdle.
2.Who can use Prepdle
You must be at least 13 years old to use Prepdle. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, please read these terms with a parent or guardian and make sure they’re okay with you using Prepdle. By letting you use Prepdle, they agree to these terms on your behalf.
3.Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account. Don’t share, sell or transfer it.
- If you think someone else has used your account, change your password and email hello@prepdle.com.
4.Playing fair
Prepdle works because everyone gets the same questions. When you use Prepdle, don’t:
- use bots, scripts or other automated tools to play, collect questions or copy content;
- create accounts to manipulate results, streaks or leaderboards;
- try to get answers before submitting, or interfere with how Prepdle works or is secured;
- pick a username, or send reactions or nudges, that harass, threaten, impersonate or demean anyone, or that are hateful or sexual;
- use Prepdle to break the law or anyone else’s rights.
Posting answers before the day is over isn’t against the rules, but it spoils the game for your friends, so please don’t. We may change a username that breaks these rules, and we may suspend or close accounts that do.
5.Questions and practice content
Prepdle’s questions are original practice items written in the style of the digital SAT. They are for practice only. We work hard to make them accurate, but mistakes happen. If you think a question is wrong, use “Report a problem” and we’ll look at it.
We can’t promise any particular score or result. Prepdle isn’t a replacement for official preparation materials or for your teachers’ advice.

6.Our rights in Prepdle
Prepdle, including its questions, explanations, design and software, belongs to us and our licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Prepdle for your own studying while you follow these terms. You may share your own results and screenshots, but don’t copy, republish, sell or build a product from our questions or content without written permission.
7.Your content and feedback
You keep ownership of anything you write in Prepdle, such as a question report. You give us permission to use it to run and improve Prepdle. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
8.Changes to Prepdle
Prepdle is free to use today. We’re always working on it, so features may change, and we may add, limit or stop parts of the service. If we ever offer paid features, we’ll explain the price and terms clearly before you pay for anything.
9.Ending your account
You can stop using Prepdle and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we’re required to by law, or to protect other players. If we close your account for a reason other than a serious or repeated violation, we’ll tell you and give you a chance to download your data first.
10.Disclaimers
Prepdle is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise that Prepdle will always be available, error-free or secure.
11.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Prepdle won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of Prepdle. Our total liability for any claim about Prepdle is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12.Disputes
If you have a problem with Prepdle, email hello@prepdle.com first. Most issues can be sorted out quickly that way, and we’ll try in good faith for at least 30 days before either of us goes further. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Prepdle’s operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and nothing in them limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and if a change is significant we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Prepdle after that, you accept the new terms. If you don’t, you can delete your account.
14.Contact us
Questions about these terms, or a copyright concern: email hello@prepdle.com.
